When our babies were born, some fellow moms and I concurred that we would never be the types of moms who will conduct our lives based on our children's nap schedule.
Well, that was a bunch of crap.
Today I realized why it is so important that I have Melia home for naptime...it is my only downtime. Yes, I need my downtime. So if I suddenly have to rush out of the mall or disappear from the park, you will know why. I can't miss my window of opportunity for downtime.

darlin' - there is no "set of instructions" to be a good mom, it all comes from each of our own hearts and situations...and you are doing a fine job. Happy belated Mothers' Day and Birthday, Krista.
By the way, my now 17 and 19 year old kids watched Barney the Dinosaur videos more times than I want to count, and to date, neither of them has gone "postal"...so there!
I need that picture! I remember when that was taken and the boys and I would love to have copies. Love and miss you guys!
